Lou & Terry Buonomo are a husband and wife photography team based on Long Island, New York.

Having begun to pursue our interest in photography after a trip to Australia, we found ourselves drawn to the area of nature photography. We are fortunate to live in an area offering diverse opportunities to experience and to document the natural world that surrounds us on Long Island.

In the Fall of 2006 "Oystercatcher & Chick", taken at Nickerson Beach on LI was inducted into an exhibition of nature photography at the Smithsonian Institution’s National Museum of National History, as part of the 2006 Windland Smith Rice International Awards

Our images have been featured in local and international publications and have been honored by National Audubon Society and the North American Nature Photographer Association. In addition several images have been accepted in to juried shows across the country.

Lou & Terry now travel the US and the world looking for adventure and photographic opportunity.
